MALAD-Daniel J. Jones, 58, of Malad, died Saturday, Sept. 12, 1992, in Pocatello.
He was born Feb. 27, 1934, in Los Angeles, Calif., son of Gilbert Williams and Fay L. Jones. He lived in California during his younger years, moving to Clearfield, Utah, where he completed his education. He had worked in several different states at various jobs, and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He had married Rachael Powell, and they were later divorced.
He is survived by his mother, Fay L. Jones of Malad, and a sister, Sandra Renee Smith, Spokane, Washington.
He was a member of the LDS Church.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 16, 11 a.m., at the Malad City Cemetery with military rites by the American Legion, Ernest W. Jones Post No. 62. Arrangements are by Benson-Horsley Funeral Home of Malad.
