Dalam E. Kent, 76, died at Downey Tuesday

Dalam E. Kent, age 76, died Tuesday at Marsh Valley Hospital, Downey, of natural causes. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. in Benson Funeral Home with Bishop James Madson officiating.

Mr. Kent was born here at Malad to Daniel W. and Martha Denning Kent. He married Martishia Thomas July 9, 1920 at Malad; she died in 1930. He married May Taylor Feb. 10, 1935, and they were divorced.

Mr. Kent received his education in Malad schools. He was a member of the LDS Church, Fraternal Order of Eagles, American Legion Post No. 65, and a veteran of World War I.

Surviving are a son and three daughters, Dalam E. Jr., Tremonton, Utah; Mrs. Lynn (Enid) Harris, Malad; Mrs. Richard (Carol ) Dickey, Perry, Utah; Miss Karma Kent, Rupert; six grandchildren; one brother and one sister, Thomas M. Kent, Malad; Mrs. Blaine (Pearl) Burrows, Pocatello.

Friends may call Friday evening and Saturday after 12:30 p.m. until time of service. Burial will be at Malad City Cemetery.
