Craig J. Facer

Craig J. Facer, 42, of Laytonville, California, passed away January 31, 1992.
He was born July 19, 1949, in Pocatello, Idaho, to George M. and Melba H. Facer. He attended Tyhee Elementary, Hawthorne Junior High, and graduated from Highland High School in 1947. He attended Utah State University in Logan, Utah and then joined the Navy. After being discharged from the Navy in 1970, he farmed with his father in the Tyhee area until 1984.
He was married to Alice Marie Adamson on April 6, 1977, in Pocatello, Idaho.
In 1984 he and his family moved to Sonoma, California, and in 1988 to Laytonville, California. Craig had been working at Harwood Mill before his illness.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Marie Facer, of Laytonville, California; his two daughters, Holly Marie and Crystal Ann, also of Laytonville; his parents George M. and Melba H. Facer of Tyhee, Idaho; four sisters and one brother, Sharlene Urbarski, Maricopa, Arizona, Patsy Facer, Pocatello, Idaho, Georgia, Vistercil, Teton, Idaho, Todd Facer, Tucson, Arizona, and Jane Wardle, Pocatello, Idaho; 15 nieces and nephews, including Derrick J. Kraus of West Lafayette, Indiana.
Services will be held on Friday, February 7, at 2 p.m. at the Tyhee Stake Center at the corner of Tyhee and Moonglow Roads. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to a savings account which has been established at First Security Bank for his children.
