Clarence LaVerne Gohn

GOHN, CLARENCE LaVERNE

Clarence LaVerne Gohn, 74, of Cherry Creek, died July 8, 1988 in the Veteran’s Hospital following an extensive illness. He was born March 5, 1914 in Fairfield, Iowa. He was raised and educated in Iowa.

As a young man, he joined the Air Force where he served until his retirement in 1955. He lived in various areas including the Ogden, Utah area. For the past several years he has resided in Malad.

He worked road construction and was employed with the Williams Irrigation Company in Malad. He was a member of the Lutheran Church and the Masons.

He is survived by his wife of Malad; five sons, Charles M.; Clarence L. II; John W.; Carl F.; and Daniel R. Gohn; and one daughter, Ruth B. West.

Funeral services were held July 12 in the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home, Malad. Burial was in the Malad City Cemetery with military rites accorded by the Ernest W. Jones Post No. 65.
