Services held Saturday for Mrs. Stena[sic] Parry, 97

Funeral Services were held Saturday at Benson Funeral Home for Mrs. Christine A. L. (Stena) Parry, age 97, who died Wednesday, June 6th,[1973] at Oneida Nursing Home of natural causes.

Mrs. Parry was born Feb. 20, 1876, at Logan, a daughter of James and Anna Sorenson Larson. She married William Parry March 20, 1901, in Brigham City. He died in 1926.

Survivors include a brother and sister, Leff [sic] Larson and Rhoda Thomas, both of Malad.

Bishop Gene Edwards officiated. Speakers were Wm. Griff[sic] Jenkins and Ethel Colton, who read the obituary. Family prayer was offered by Dr. John A. Jones; invocation, by Eugene Colton and benediction, by Michael Colton. Vocal solos were presented by Dr. Jones and Helen E. Jones, accompanied by Myra Jean John. Mrs. John also played prelude and postlude music.

Raiford G. Benson offered the dedicatory prayer at St. John Cemetery.

Casket bearers were James G. Thomas, Dave Thomas, Robert Colton, Oscar Larson, Dale Thomas and Ivan Schwartz.

St. John Relief Society arranged the flowers.

Funeral arrangements were under direction of Benson Funeral Home.
