Ogden – Chester John Edwards, 53, died Friday, June 24, 1994.

He was born Feb. 13, 1941 in Malad, Idaho to Chester L and Alice Blaisdell Edwards.

He married Carolyn Joan Lewis on May 3, 1961 in San Francisco, Calif. They were later divorced. He married Carol Ann Adams on April 15, 1996 in Ogden. They were later divorced.

He attended high shccol[sic] at Weber High School graduating in 1959. He received a BS degree in political science and history at Weber State University. He served in the Army during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

He was a member of the LDS Church and served as an Elder.

He enjoyed fishing and riding in rodeos.

Surviving are two daughters, Tamara McCool, Modesto, Calif,; Diane Edwards, Salt Lake City, Utah; his mother; three brothers, Ralph Edwards, Ogden; David Edwards, Ogden; Douglas Edwards, Folsom, Calif.; one sister, Joanne Busenbark, Ogden.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 11 a.m. at the Myers Mortuary Chapel, 845 Washington Blvd., where friends may call this evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Monday from 10 to 10:45 a.m.

Graveside services will also be held Monday 2 p.m. at the Malad, Idaho City Cemetery with military honors accorded by the Malad American Legion Honor Guard.
