Charles G. Price, 73, died Thursday at five p. m., at his home, 454 West Second, after a long illness.

Mr. Price was born August 13, 1866, in Mariastadt, Sweden, a son of Carl August and Maria Sofia Larson Price. He came to Ogden 50 years ago. He assisted in laying the rock foundation for the old Reed hotel on the present site of the Ben Lomond hotel and contracted the plastering of the Central junior high school.

He was a member of the L. D. S. church and of the high priests’ quorum of the North Weber stake. He married Emily Annie Stromberg in Ogden, May 6, 1890.

Surviving are the following sons and daughters; Charles W. and Norman L. Price of Ogden; Reynold Price of Huntsville; Mrs. Jessie Short of St. George; Mrs. John S. Nyland of Ogden; Mrs. R. C. Wineteer of Pueblo, Colo.; a brother, John W. Price of Ogden, and 12 grandchildren. The body is at the Larkin & Sons mortuary.

Services will be conducted Sunday at two p. m. in the L. D. S. Fifteenth ward chapel by Bishop Earl E. Lee. Friends may call at the family home Saturday, afternoon and evening and Sunday until one-thirty p.m. Interment will be in Huntsville cemetery.
