Celia Lois Walker Ralphs, 84, of Rockland, Idaho, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 1991, at the home of her daughter, Marcia Permann[sic].

Mrs. Ralphs was born March 31, 1907, to Mark Eugene and Laura Walker Walker [sic].

On May 3, 1939, she was married to Alvin Leo Ralphs in the Salt Lake Temple. She attended school in Rockland, and spent most of her life there. She attended LDS Business College in Salt Lake City, Utah. She worked as a telephone operator in Vale, Oregon, for three years, and worked for two years in the Mesa, Arizona, temple.

She was a member of the Rockland LDS Ward, and had spent her lifetime working in the Hardware Store, the Dry Farm and raising her five children. She was an accomplished pianist and organist, and was active in the ward, serving in various positions. Her talents also consisted of crocheting, knitting and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, one brother, four sisters and two grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Alvin Ralphs, of Rockland; her five children, Reynold[sic] and Delford[sic] Ralphs of Rockland, Marcia Permann[sic] of American Falls, Rosa Lee Rosen of Kennewick, Wash., and Reva[sic] Hawkes[sic] of Orem, Utah. She also has 27 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, one brother, Ona[sic] Walker, and two sisters, Olga Halling[sic], Pocatello, Idaho, and Viorene[sic] Wardie[sic] of Fresno, Calif.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Rockland LDS Ward Chapel.

Friends may call at the Davis Mortuary American Falls, tonight from 6 p.m. to service time at the Rockland Ward LDS Chapel.

Burial will be in the Valleyview[sic] Cemetery, Rockland.
