Beth Jones Stallmen

Beth M. Stallman, 83, passed away in Los Angeles, California March 30, 1984 of complications following a stroke.

She was born November 21, 1900 in Malad, Idaho to Brigham E. Jones and Elizabeth Ann Bywater.

She was married to Dewey T. Jones in 1919. They had two sons and lived in Ogden, Utah for many years, they were later divorced.

In 1946 she married Robert B. Stallman in Los Angeles, California where she lived until the time of her death.

She was a member of the LDS Church and was active in all the auxiliary organizations of the church being President of the Stake Relief Society of the Inglewood Stake for sixteen years. She was a teacher and organist at the time of her death.

She is survived by her husband, Robert T. Stallman; one son, Elmo D. Jones; one step-daughter, Mary S. Gaston; one granddaughter, Janet Jones Parker; two great-grandchildren, Jessica E. Lynn and Thomas Parker Jr.; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one son, seven brothers and one sister.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 3, 1984 at the Weschester First Ward, Los Angeles, California. Burial was in Forrest Lawn Cemetery.
