Benjamin Allen Worley, age 66, of Sparks, NV, passed away Friday, May 13, 2005 at ManorCare of Reno. He was born November 17, 1938 in Lynchburg, VA to Benjamin Hayden and Myrtle (Wright) Worley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Patsy Banks, Rachel Naylor and brother Gene Worley.
Allen joined the US Air Force immediately upon his high school graduation in 1957. He obtained his vocational training while in the service which would become his career for the next 32 years. He retired in 1994 as a Federal Government Employee from the FAA.
Allen is survived by his wife of 41 years, Mary; “son” Aaron, both of Sparks; daughter Susan and grandchildren Ashley and Parker Johnson of Oklahoma City; sister Betty Wheatcraft of Charleston, WV; brother Wayne Worley (Sandra) of Lynchburg, VA; and many in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews across the USA.
Services will be Friday, May 20, 2005 at 2 pm at Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 14 Veterans Way, Fernley, NV.
Allen touched so many lives along the way. Many have said what a privilege it was to have known him.
