Arlin K. Beeton

CARBONVILLE – Our beloved husband, stepfather, step-grandfather, dear brother, uncle and friend, Arlin K. Beeton, age 76, passed away July 16, 2011 at his home.

He was born October 16, 1934 in Malad, Idaho to Clarence and Louise Cook Beeton. Arlin attended Lewiston Junior High and graduated from North Cache High School in 1952. He worked 17 years for Amalgamated Sugar. Arlin was honored to serve his country and he served in the Utah national Guard for eight years. He worked for Del Monte for four years, then worked for McNally Pitts in Rock Springs. Arlin then moved to Price, where he met and married Carol Raye Berensen-Beeton on April 25, 1980 in Elko, Nevada. While residing in Price, he worked at Mining Progress until his retirement. He enjoyed wood-working, four-wheeling and working in his yard. Arlin was a life member of the Elk’s Lodge. He loved telling funny stories and jokes; he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Berensen-Beeton of Carbonville; stepdaughters, Terri Andreini of Riverton, Utah, and Traci Andreini-Harmond of Helper; brother, Mark (Maretia) Beeton of Spokane, WA; sister, Anna (Ray) Viola of Federal Way, WA; step grandchildren, Ty Curtis, Troy Piantes, Christopher Peacock and Jeremy Andreini; and step great-grandchildren, Hope and Noah Curtis. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends and in-laws. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Betty Karren; and stepson Jerry Andreini.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 20 at Cliffview Cemetery in Price. Family will be at Mitchell Funeral Home on Wednesday one hour prior to services for a visitation.
