Annie Daniels dies in nursing home

MALAD – Annie Price Daniels, 88, 525 Bannock St., Malad, died Sunday (13 Jul 1982) in the Oneida County Nurs¬ing Home.

She was born April 11, 1894, in Malad to Samuel Willard and Matilda Gleed Price. She grew up and was educated in Malad, where she has lived her entire life. She married Daniel Owens Daniels May 25, 1915, in Malad. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple April 16. 1965. Mr. Daniels died Aug. 9, 1976. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints and served as secretary and teacher in the primary organization.

She is survived by one son and two daughters, Daniel Max Daniels, Boise; Mrs. Raymond (Trilva) D. Jones, Ogden, Utah; and Mrs. Lyle (Ruth) D. Hess, Malad; 10 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister, Samuel Willard Price, Youngstown, Ohio, and Mrs. Mary Peterson, Logan, Utah.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Malad LDS First Ward chapel with Bishop Gordon Griffiths officiating. Burial was in the Malad City Cemetery.
