ANNELLA JONES PRICE

MALAD — Annella Jones Price, 84, of Malad, died Tuesday, Oct. 13, 1981 in Malad.

She was born Nov. 28, 1897, in St. John, Idaho, the daughter of Evan W. and Mary Evans Jones.

She was a lifetime resident of the Malad Valley, receiving her education in St. John, Malad, and Pocatello.

She married John L. Price May 30, 1917, in St. John. Mr. Price died Nov. 16, 1976.

Mrs. Price was a school teacher for 18 years.

She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints.

She was active and held offices in War Mothers, Daughters of Pioneers, American Legion Auxiliary, and she was chairwoman of the Relic Room.

She is survived by one son and one daughter: Kleal J. Price, Malad, Idaho, and Chloe P. Koffman, Concord, Calif.

Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are two brothers and six sisters; Evan W. Jones and Ed Jones, both of Pocatello, Idaho; Mrs. Sarah Jones, Blackfoot, Idaho; Vera Jones, Logan; Alice Helpie, California; and Mabel Butner[sic], California; Thelma Rockwell, California; and Wilde Thomson, California.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 12 noon at the Malad LDS 3rd Ward Chapel, with Bishop Garth Sweeten officiating.

Friends may call Thursday night from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home in Malad and Friday morning prior to services.

Interment in Malad City cemetery.
