Funeral services are being held today, Sept. 9th, at the Lava Hot Springs LDS Ward for Anna Katherine Miller Nelson, 86, Lava, who died Monday morning at the Pocatello Regional Medical Center.
A daughter of Carl and Anna Betchdol Miller, she was born Sept. 24, 1895, at Eureka, Utah. When five years old, she moved to Ohio with her parents and returned to Idaho in 1905, making her home here since. She was married to Edwin Carl Nelson, Sept. 15, 1914 in Pocatello. Mr. Nelson died Nov. 16, 1981, Pocatello.
She is survived by three sons, Richard Nelson, Bancroft, Idaho; Russell E. Nelson, Lava Hot Springs; and Erick L. Nelson, Everett, Wash.; two daughters, Mrs. Alex (Edythe K.) Hi–, Lava Hot Springs, and Mrs. Ruby Riddle, Centerville, Utah; 23 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Emma Hansen, Colorado Springs, Colo. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Fay Lewin; and two infant children.
