Alice Ferguson, 82 of Aberdeen, died early Monday morning, January 16, 1995 at the Power County Nursing Home, American Falls. She was born in Malad, Idaho the daughter of John J. and Armenta Richards Jones. She married Douglas Ferguson on March 28, 1931 in Pocatello, Idaho. Alice was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Aberdeen Second ward. She enjoyed fishing, her grandchildren, traveling, crocheting, quilting and crafts.
Alice is survived by one son, Farrell Douglas Ferguson of Mt. Veron, WA; three daughters Marilyn Permann of American Falls, Renee Milller of Aberdeen, Idaho, and Janiel Nickerson of Eagle, Idaho; six sisters, Margret Asire of Fresno, CA, Melba Harmon of Olympia, WA, Merle Henderson of Pocatello, ID, Donna Tillotson of Bancroft, ID, Elaine Parker of Pocatello, ID and Kay Williams of Shelley, ID; 16 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Victor and LaVar Jones and one sister, Shirley Williams.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, January, 19, 1995 in the Aberdeen Second Ward. Interment was in the Aberdeen Cemetery.
