Alexia Ann Wittman
April 14, 1960 – September 17, 2024
Surrounded by her loving family, Alexia Ann Wittman returned to her Heavenly Father Tuesday, September 17, 2024 after having experienced a catastrophic medical event. Alexia was born to John Paul Wittman and Grace Marlene Hill Wittman on April 14, 1960 in Pocatello Idaho. She was raised in Tremonton, Utah and attended High School at Bear River High. The family moved to Pocatello, Idaho where she completed High School and graduated from Pocatello High School.
On June 12, 1992 she was blessed with her greatest gift of all, her son, Nathan Paul Wittman. Being a mother was surely the highlight of her life. On November 11, 2009, her grandson Chad Michael Wittman was born bringing even more love into our family. In December of 2020, Nathan married Lex, who has two sons as well, Zek and Remy, and their family grew again. Mamaw or Hen, as she was lovingly referred to, was beyond happy to be blessed with a daughter-in-law and two more grandsons.
Alexia most loved spending time with family and friends. She loved cooking, crafting, playing cards. She was an amazing seamstress and loved to crochet. She had a talent to make something of nothing. Receiving a handmade gift from her was a gift made from love.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, and her brother John Edward Wittman. She is survived by her son, Nathan Paul Wittman (Lex Wittman), her three grandsons Chad, Zeke and Remy, sisters Susan Dominguez (Tony Dominguez), Paula Wittman, Heidi Cookson (Mark Cookson), and brother Daniel Wittman (Erika Wittman), Susan Wittman (sister-in-law), her Aunt DaNeiil Loveday (Ted Loveday), Uncle Veryl Nessen as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Viewing will be held Sunday evening from 7-8 pm at the LDS Chapel, 550 W Cedar in Pocatello, Idaho and Monday prior to the service from 10:30-11:30 am at Horsley’s Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at noon.
