Anita Riley Thorsen, age 73, died January 13, 2013, in Malad City, Idaho. She was born December 13, 1939, in Torrey, Utah, a daughter of John Conway and Christena Geneva Allen Riley. Anita married Hyrum M. Thorsen, May 26, 1962.
She is survived by her husband; children: Tony Thorsen of Provo; Tracy Lynn and Wesley Tapp of Malad City, Idaho; six grandchildren; a sister, Arlene Emmons of Provo. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, two brothers, and her oldest son, Tommy Thorsen.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 19, 2013, at 12 Noon in the Salina LDS Stake Center. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Salina, Friday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or at the Stake Center, Saturday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Salina Pioneer Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
