Jason Clyde Thorpe, 24, passed away May 17, 1993, as a result of an auto accident.

He was born March 19, 1969, in Ogden, Utah, the son of Thomas C. and Shirley Smith Thorpe.

Jason had lived in Bloomfield, New Mexico and Layton and had attend North Davis Jr. High and Clearfield High School. He was attending Weber State University.

He enjoyed basketball, reading, school, his car, and loved children and cats.

He was a member of the Cherry Lane Ward of the LDS Church.

He is survived by his parents of Layton; two brothers, Travis T. Thorpe, Centerville; Gavan D. Thorpe, Layton; and one sister, Donnetta Thorpe, Layton; and three nephews. Also his grandparents, Dale Smith, Clearfield and Edna Thorpe of Layton.

Funeral services will be Friday, May 21, 1993 at 1 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1074 N. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah where friends may call 11:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m., Friday before services.
