June Busenbark Talbot

OGDEN – June Busenbark Talbot, age 75, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 1998 at Manor Care Nursing Home of complications from cancer.
She was born in Garland, Utah on November 6, 1923 to Albert Henry Busenbark and Mary Molinda Lewis. She married Steven Talbot on June 23, 1941 in Malad City, Idaho, they were later separated, and he passed away in 1959. Of this union were born two daughters, GayLynn and Nannette.
She attended Garland City School. She moved to Ogden in the late 1940s and was a waitress at several local downtown cafes, including The China Temple, The Bamboo Noodle, and The China Nite. After retirement, she enjoyed gardening, quilting, and embroidering.
Surviving are one daughter, Nannette Talbot Malan, Ogden; four grandchildren, Steven R. Malan, Ogden; Vincent Lee Raleigh, Jr., Robert Jon Raleigh, Lorri Lynn Raleigh and husband Richard Werster, all of California; and three great-grandchildren, Danny Raleigh, Andrew and Kellyanne Werster. she is also survived by three brothers, Merl (Ruth) Busenbark, Montana; Dee (Donna) Busenbark, Brigham City, Utah; Grant Bud’ (Erma) Busenbark, Ogden; three sisters, Irma Krupp, Washington; Phyllis (Earl) Johns, Ogden; and Rita Ravsten, Clearfield.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, GayLynn; one brother, Monroe; and two sisters, Winifred Busenbark and Eythel Busenbark. She also leaves behind her good friend Lois Surdeil.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 28, 1998, at 1 p.m. at Ogden City Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m. at Myers Mortuary in Ogden, 845 Washington Blvd.
