A.A. Stephens

Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Pleasantview ward for Mrs. A.A. Stephens of the Springfield Ward near Burley, Idaho, who passed away at her home there last Saturday after a lingering illness. Mrs. Stephens was a resident of Pleasantview until about nine months ago when the family moved to the Burley section.

Bishop Christensen of the Springfield ward officiated at the services, which were as follows:

Singing “Beautiful Land,” by the Pleasantview Choir; invocation, W. P. Camp Sr., singing by the choir “Resting Now From Care and Sorrow” remarks by H. W. Jones and President Thos. W. Richards; a song “O, I had Such a Pretty Dream Mamma,” by the Sunday School class which Mrs. Stephens taught in Pleasantview; remarks by Bishop J. M. Isaacson, Bishop John E. Blaisdell and Bishop Christensen; singing by the choir “O, Grave Where Is Thy Victory,” with Lyman Ipsen singing the solo part; benediction, Nephi Ipsen.

Interment was in the Pleasantvew Cemetery. The grave was dedicated by Ruel Ipsen.

Mrs. Stephens is survived by her husband and four children, Arvel, Deverne, Leland and Emma Stephens.

Funeral services were held Monday at the Springfield Ward after which the remains were taken to Pleasantview.
