David Wayne Sanders, 83, of Lava Hot Springs, Idaho, passed away peacefully on Oct. 2, 2026, at his home.

Dave was born on Dec. 3, 1942, in Murray, Utah to Louis W. and Vivian Carlson Sanders. His family settled in Pocatello, Idaho. He was known as a kind, spiritual man with a dry sense of humor and a fun, slightly rebellious personality.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie, their children and spouses Stephanie (and Ron), Mike (and Cindy), Heather (and Jon), and Landon ( Alicia), their wonderful grandchildren, great-grandchildren and his sister, Jacque.

Funeral Services will be held at the Lava LDS Church on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
