Shelly Ann Kunz

February 6, 1960 – May 20, 2026

Shelley Ann Kunz, 66 longtime resident of Marsh Valley, passed away May 20th 2026. Shelley was born on February 6th 1960, in Pocatello to Maurice and Betty Kinney. She attended McCammon Elementary and Graduated from Marsh Valley High School in 1978.

She was an amazing cook and did that for a job her whole life. She was a cook at the downey elementary school in downey and that is where she retired after 25 years. She loved all of her grandkids and great grand son. She was always the first one to all the games and events that her family had. She loved to plant and care for flowers and took meticulous care of her yard.

Shelley married Don Kunz in Marsh Valley. They lived in Cambridge and always had fun together until Don passed away.

She has made many friends and memories in Marsh Valley. She will be missed by many.

She is Preceded in death by her parents Maurice and Betty Kinney of McCammon, Idaho and her sisters Jacki and Nancy.

She is Survived by 3 sisters: Vicki and Steve Chase of McCammon, Idaho; Shirley and Danny Nelson of McCammon, Idaho; Dixie and Gene Lish of Inkom, Idaho

She is survived by two children: Dustin Maurice Morrison of Downey, Idaho; DeeAnn Treva Morrison Jensen of Downey, Idaho. She is also survived by six grandchildren and one grandchild: Koewan Morrison son of Kaden D. and Emma Morrison of Pocatello, Idaho; Cy K. Morrison of Downey, Idaho; Wyatt D. Morrison of McCammon, Idaho; Hagen Jensen of Pocatello, Idaho; Heston Jensen of Swan Lake, Idaho; Hance Jensen of Swan Lake, Idaho.

Funeral Services will be held on May 28th 2026 at noon at the Marsh Valley Funeral Home in Arimo, Idaho and a viewing that morning from 11-noon with a viewing the night before on May 27th from 6-7 p.m. From there she will be taken to the McCammon Norton Cemetery where she will be laid to rest by her mother and father.
