Edward Arthur Silvester

TREMONTON Edward Arthur Silvester 86 passed away January 21 1998 He was born February 27 1911 in Plymouth the son of Fredrick and Aivira Bigier Silvester He married Delia Mane Hess December 6, 1935 in Ogden. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple January 9, 1958
Edward was reared and educated in Plymouth and attended Bear River High School He was a ranch foreman
in Promontory and served as a Deputy Sheriff for Box Eider county for ten years He served as County Road Supervisor for Box Eider County for ten years and was the Brand inspector for Box Eider County for ten years He was a charter member of the Box Elder County Posse and an avid horseman, he broke and trained horses throughout his life for many people
Mr. Silvester served in World War II in Germany, during the European Conflict
He was a High Priest in the Tremonton 7th Ward
Surviving are his wife Delia M Silvester Tremonton one daughter and three sons. Shirrel (Carol Ann) Hollister Idaho LJay (Geneli) Orem, Utah, Delia Gwen Trombley Ogden. Troy (Sharon) Tremonton. 22 grandchildren, and 42 great-grandchildren
Also surviving are three brothers and five sisters, Daniel (Twila) Ogden. Allen (Wilma) Roy Wendel (Virginia) MT Vie Udy Ogden, Lily Hess. Malad, Idaho. Nina Archibald Price Leah (Ken) Foster Lakewood, Calif Arlene Jenkins, Brigham
He was preceded in death by three brothers, one sister one grandchild and two great-grandchildren

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 26. 1998, 1 pm at Tremonton 1st and 11th Ward Chapel, 166 No Tremont St Friends may call Sunday, January 25 from 6-8 pm and Monday from 11-12:30 at Rogers .and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 No. 100 E., Tremonton
