Beulah Verle Evans Scott

Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, Beulah Verle Evans Scott, 77, passed away on July 24, 1998, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born June 11, 1921, in Spanish Fork, Utah, the sixth of eight children born to John Evan and Eliza Maretta Markham Evans. She was raised in Magna, Utah, and graduated from Cyprus High School. She married George Milton Scott, Jr. on April 2, 1941, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
She was on active member of the LDS Church serving in Sunday School, Primary, MIA, and Relief Society, where she was a faithful visiting teacher. She was an excellent seamstress, making patchwork quilts and other hand-work. She loved genealogy, cooking, and was an excellent pie maker. She worked for Grand Central for many years.
She is survived by her husband, George, Sandy, Utah; son, George (Carolyn) Scott III, Washington, Utah; three daughters: Kathleen (Bill) Webb, West Valley City, Utah, Marianne (Blaine) Crump, Malad, Idaho, Renae (Rick) Stowe, Riverton; 20 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Drucilla Romrell, West Valley City. Preceded in death by a grandson and his wife, Christian and Fae Walker Webb.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 28, 1998, in the Midvalley 7th Ward. Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens.
