Rex Glen Coburn, 75, of Malad, Idaho passed away suddenly in his home due to heart complications on December 25, 2025.
Rex was born January 7, 1950 in Preston, Idaho. He was the youngest of 6 children.
He served in the army in Vietnam from 1968-1970 as a truck driver where he was exposed to Agent Orange, causing him life long health problems.
In 1971, he met the love of his life, Regina Gleed, on a blind date. They married later that same year, eventually making their home in Malad, Idaho, where he worked as a truck driver at Thiokol. Rex and Regina were about to celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary.
Rex had a love for hunting, fishing and NASCAR. He enjoyed watching old westerns & game shows. He also loved to read a good mystery.
Rex is survived by his loving wife Regina, his children Chad(Jean) Coburn and Angela Coburn, three grandchildren Brittani(Andy) Sorensen, Brooklyn Coburn and Brigette(Linus) Colyer, as well as three great-grandchildren Taylee, Brexton and Kelton Sorensen.
There will be a private viewing for family, followed by a graveside service at the Malad Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to help with unexpected funeral costs and medical bills. Donations can be sent to @Angie-Coburn-3 on Venmo(last 4 digits 2916)
