Gerald Couch

Gerald Couch, 70, passed away Thursday April 19, 2001, at home due to asthma complications. He was born to Raymond Joshua and Margaret Williams on November 17, 1930, in Garland, Utah.

He was raised and educated in the Bear River Valley and also served in the U.S. Navy. He married Constance Clark on January 13, 1951, and their marriage was solemnized later in the Logan LDS Temple for time and all eternity with their four children on August 26, 1965. Gerald loved his farm and ranch, especially his cattle. He gave great service to his fellow man. He will be missed by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, son, Dan (Marva) Couch of Malad; daughter, Marilyn (Gene) Goddard of Pocatello; son, David (Brenda) Couch of Tremonton; daughter, Diane (David) Daniels of Malad; 11 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren; also a brother, Raymond (Bemice) Couch, Bountiful. Utah; sister, Barbara (Keith) Banford, California.

He was preceded in death by his parents and loving wife, Connie, and granddaughter, Jennie Marie Daniels.

Funeral services will be on Monday, April 23, 2001, at 1 p.m. in the Malad LDS Second/Fifth Ward chapel, 20 S. 100 W, Malad.

Friends may call at the Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W. 300 N., in Malad this evening, April 22, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery.
