Charlene Petterson Corbridge passed away September 3, 2001, in Malad, Idaho, after a lengthy illness.
She was born March 4, 1925, in Garland, Utah, to Ethel Porter and Peter Charles Petterson. She attended Bear River High School and graduated from Utah State University in 1946. Soon after graduation she served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Spanish American Mission.
In 1949 she was married to Eldon D. Corbridge and they are the parents of four children.
She is survived by her husband and children: C. David (Maureen) Corbridge, Joan Winston (Michael), Jean Edwards (Steven), Kirk P. Corbridge (Lara), nineteen grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Florence Chambers of Issaquah, Washington, and Mary Isom, Salt Lake City, Utah.
Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, September 6, 2001, at 12:00 in the Malad LDS 3rd Ward Chapel located at 200 W. 400 N. in Malad. A viewing will be held the evening of September 4th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Thursday at the funeral home from 10:30-11:30 a.m. She will be buried in the Malad City Cemetery.
