Alta Clark

MALAD – Alta Clark, 81, of Malad, passed away Friday, May 29, 1998 at the Oneida County Hospital.

She was born January 25, 1917 in Malad, a daughter of Hugh and Sarah Zundel Clark.

Alta grew up and received her education in the Malad Valley. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Alta loved watching sports events, and was an avid bowler. She was also an excellent cook, and loved raising her beautiful roses.

She is survived by six sisters, Helen (Dale) Reese of Malad, Beth (Neal) Hawks of Ogden, Utah, Thelma (Farrel) Daniels, of Malad, Larene (Glen) Vaughan of Ogden, Utah, Lorraine (Don) Clabby of Bountiful, Utah, and Ann (David) Peterson of Santa Maria, Calif.; also surviving are many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 2, 1998 at noon in the Malad LDS Stake Chapel, Bishop Mark Alder officiating. Friends may call at the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W. 300 N., this evening (Monday, June 1), from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and on Tuesday at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery
