Elmer Hunsaker

Elmer Hunsaker, age 68, ‘ passed away November 30, 1987, In San Francisco, California, following a long Illness.
Born July 17, 1919, at Malad, Idaho, to Robert Jesse and Maria Palmer Hunsaker. Graduate of Malad High School and Utah State University. Did graduate work at the University of Utah. Former Utah State Personnel Director, and Director of Training Programs for the State Department of Social Services. Retired Lt. Colonel, U.S. Army after 30 years of service, four of which were in the Second World War. Member of Salt Lake City Tabernacle Choir for 32 years; Utah Symphony Chorale for eight years. Traveled extensively during the past 14 years, having visited all continents except Antarctica, at least once.
Survived by two daughters, Helen H. Layton, Litchfield Park, Arizona; Mrs. David A. (Ruth) Lundberg, Salt Lake City; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Zeph (Moe) Jones, Pocatello, Idaho; and Mrs. Edward (Lela) Smith, American Fork, Utah; one brother, Reed Hunsaker, Olympic, Washington; and one half-brother, Rex Hunsaker, Portland, Oregon. Preceded in death by one son, Robert.
Funeral services will be Saturday, December 5th, 11 a.m. Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, where friends may call Friday from 6-8 pm and Saturday, one hour prior to services. Interment, Malad City (Idaho) Cemetery
