Thomas Lyle Hill

Thomas Lyle Hill, a longtime resident of Kirkland, Washington, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2011. He was born on December 20, 1920, the firstborn of Thomas Nelson and Helen Turner Hill, in St. John, Idaho. He graduated from Malad High School and served in the army air force in WWII. Afterward, he became an employee of Boeing working in Wichita, Moses Lake, WA, Seattle and Munich, Germany. An entrepreneur, Thomas was self-employed operating as general contractor and real estate investor.
Thomas is survived by: his beloved wife, June Hill (Kirkland, WA); his four children – Edward (Seattle, WA), Michael (Bothell, WA), Elizabeth (Rochester, NY) and David (Woodinville, WA); and his six grandchildren – Shaun, Anna, Alex, Esther, Anaisha and Michael. He also leaves behind his dear sisters: Edna Catherine Ekstrom (Pocatello, ID); Bessie M. Nelson (Sunset, UT); and Mildred Jean Hancock(Boise, ID). His brother, Gerald Virgil Hill, and his sister, Helen May McDaniel, are predeceased.
The funeral service for Thomas Hill will be held at the Horsley Funeral Home, in Malad City, Idaho, at noon, on Saturday, May 21, 2011. Burial will take place at St. John Cemetery afterward.
