Felix Pacheco
BRIGHAM CITY, Utah — Felix Pacheco, 69, died Oct. 18, 1993 at the Pioneer Care Center.
He was born Nov. 3, 1924, a son of Reyes and Rosita Garcia Pacheco in Santo Domingo, New Mexico.
He married Geneva Alex in Elko, Nev. The marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on May 25, 1963. Geneva died on March 25, 1979. He was a member of the LDS Church, serving in the Branch Presidency at the Intermountain Indian School.
He was active in American Indian Cultural activities and participated in award ceremonies for Boy Scouts.
He worked as a warehouseman at D.D.O. for 45 years.
Surviving are four sons, Robert Pacheco. Granite City, III.; Tommy Pacheco and Merlin Pacheco, Brigham City; and Terry Pacheco, Ogden, Utah; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Clara Lavato, New Mexico.
He was preceded in death by his wife and an infant daughter.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 21, 1993 at 11 a.m. in the Brigham City Regional Genealogical Library building, 319 East 700 South with Bishop Fred Allen officiating. This building was originally the LDS Indian Ward.
Friends and family may call Wednesday, Oct. 20, 1993, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Olsen-Myers Mortuary in Brigham City.
Interment will be in the Washakie Cemetery.
