Joyce Hess

Joyce Hess, 64, of Malad, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2001, in the Portneuf Valley Hospital in Pocatello.
She was born June 12, 1937, in Tremonton, Utah, a daughter of Ray Leonard and Mildred Nellie Robbins Hess. She grew up and was educated in Malad, where she had lived her entire life. Joyce was a volunteer Pink Lady at the Oneida County Hospital. She was also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she had served in the Primary and Ward Choir.
Joyce is survived by four brothers: Cleon R. (Millie) Hess, East Garland, Utah; Eldon J. Hess, South Ogden, Utah; Daryl R. Hess, Salt Lake City, Utah; and Steven D. (Mitzi) Hess, Holbrook, Idaho. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Kay Lynn and David Allen.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 26, 2001. Burial was in the Malad City Cemetery.
