Doyle Curtis Hansen

McCammon, Idaho… Doyle Curtis Hansen, 66, longtime McCammon resident, passed away on Sunday April 21, 2019 following a long illness. He was born to Newell and Polly Hansen July 21, 1952. He graduated from Marsh Valley High School, class of 1970.  He married Sandy Phillips on September 28, 1973 in Downey, Idaho. They were married for 45 years.  Doyle began his career as a high rigger in the Boilermakers Union local 182.  After his time as a rigger he became a skilled welder traveling through Idaho, Wyoming and Utah working in the power plants for the Boilermakers.  He finished his career at the INL retiring in 2012.  He loved fishing, hunting, camping and team roping.  He was a wonderful grandpa and loved teasing and having fun with his grandkids.  He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Sandy, sons Shawn (Amy), Casey and two grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Austin and Lainee, his sister Linda Anders, brothers Brent, Kent and Lyle.  The family would like to thank the wonderful nurses from Signature Home Health and Hospice they are angels.  Rachel, Michaela, Miranda, Teressa, Jade, Courtney, Shasta, Tara and Dave.
Memorial services will be held on Friday at 12 noon in the Horsley Marsh Valley Funeral Home, 570 N. Meadowview Dr., Arimo. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Norton Cemetery
