Ruby Elizabeth Fisher Halverson

OGDEN – Ruby Elizabeth Fisher Halverson 81, died Friday, June 19, 1998 of causes incident to age.

She was born on May 18, 1917 in Chandler, Arizona to William Edward Fisher and Alice Williams.

She married Amos Frank Halverson on July 27, 1937 in Farmington. He died on May 30, 1991.

She was a member of the LDS Church.

She worked at Ogden Golf and Country Club for many years.

She loved to sew and garden. She was a wonderful cook, loved animals and enjoyed bowling. She loved to spend winters in Arizona.

She had lived in Arizona, Malad and Samaria, Idaho and Utah.

Surviving are her children, James Roger Halverson, Ogden; Joel Lynn Halverson, Colorado; Jerry Daniel Halverson, Ohio; Randy Lee Halverson, Salt Lake City; A. Janneane Shupe, Ogden; Sharon Ruby Kister, Arizona; Diane Sylvia Warner, Pleasant Grove; 81 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers and sister, William “Bill” Fisher, Daniel “Dan” Fisher, Gene Fisher, and Maxine Phelps.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos; a son, Amos Dee Halverson; and a granddaughter, Teri Halverson.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 24, 1 p.m. at the Myers Mortuary Chapel, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, where friends and family may call from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

Interment Aultorest Memorial Park.
