Lee Hall

ST. GEORGE, Ut. – Lee Hall, 77-year-old St. George resident, died Thursday, September 19, 1996, at the home of his daughter in Burley.

He was born September 18, 1919, at Portage, Utah, the son of Albert Theodore and Ethel Cerilda Halford Hall. He received his education in Portage, where he spent his early years.

Lee married LaRee Price on March 9, 1940. They were later divorced. He was a member of the LDS Church. He loved the outdoors and made his living as a trapper before enlisting in the US Army in 1944. Upon separation from the military, he made his home in California where he retired form (sic) the Carpenter’s Union in 1978.
Survivors include a son, Dan Hall of Boise; a daughter, Mrs. Norman (Marita) Hanks of Burley; three brothers, Lyle Hall of Malad, Kay Hall of Portage, and Lynn Hall of Redwood City, California; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and three sisters.

Funeral services were held Monday, September 23, at the Payne Memorial Chapel in Burley, with Bishop Ron Osterhout officiating. Burial was in the Gem Memorial Gardens in Burley.
