TROY TAYLOR DIES IN POCATELLO
Troy Taylor, a retired Union Pacific Railroad employee, died March 4, 1979 in Bannock Memorial Hospital, Pocatello.
He was born October 28, 1907 at Berryville, Arkansas. Mr. Taylor transferred from Nampa to Pocatello where he worked with the railroad until his retirement. Active in music, he played with the Old Time Fiddlers, the Sunshine Rhythm-aires, and enjoyed playing at the Malad Senior Citizens Center.
He is survived by his widow, Emma; a son, Leland, Pocatello; a daughter, Mrs. Robert J. (Roxie) Treasure, Malad; two brothers, five sisters and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted March 7 at Henderson’s Funeral Chapel with the Rev. J. Russel Huston officiating. Concluding rites were at Restlawn Memorial Gardens. Casket bearers were Bob Treasure, Jeff Treasure, Steve Treasure, Lee Neilson, Albert Foote and Woody Crawford.
