Thomas Blaine Burrows, Jr.

Former Pocatellan, Thomas Blaine Burrows Jr., 59, of Spring Valley, Calif., died May 15, 1992, at his home in Spring Valley, Calif.

He was born Dec. 2, 1932, in Malad, Idaho, to Thomas Blaine and Pearl Evelyne Kent Burrows. He was raised and attended schools in Pocatello, Idaho, graduating from Pocatello High School. After graduation, he served in the U.S. Marines Corps for four years.
He then made his home in San Diego, Calif., where he had resided for 40 years. He had worked at Convair in San Diego. He was a member of the LDS Church. He enjoyed target shooting, painting, reading, listening to music, and playing cards with his family.
He is survived by one brother, Darrel E. and Faye Burrows of Pocatello, Idaho; one sister, Donna and Bill Vecera of San Diego, Calif.; six nephews and one niece, for whom he had great affection. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Farrel, and one nephew.

Prior to interment, there will be a graveside service conducted by Bishop Wayne Newby of the Chubbuck Fourth Ward at the St. John Cemetery in Malad, Idaho, Friday, June 5 at 5 p.m.
