Services Friday For Mrs. Rosalie Slatter

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the St. John LDS Ward Chapel for Mrs. Rosalie Jones Slatter, 75, who died Tuesday at the Oneida Hospital after a short illness.

Bishop James Madson will officiate at the services. Friends may call at the Benson Funeral Home Thursday evening and Friday prior to services. Burial will be in the St. John Cemetery under direction of the Benson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Slatter was born June 20, 1889 at St. John, a daughter of Henry and Catherine Pierce Jones. She was married to Miles T. Slatter June 11, 1913, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. Mr. Slatter died June 21, 1931.

After their marriage the couple lived in Malad City and Moved to St. John in 1919.

An active member of the LDS Church, Mrs. Slatter served in the Primary and Relief Society. She also acted as secretary of the St. John Old Folks Day committee for several years.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Edward (Edith) Williams, Malad; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Arch (Mae) Harris, St. John.
