CAPTAIN WILLIAM N. REEVE
FORMER MALAD RESIDENT DIES IN CALIFORNIA
Military funeral services for retired Army Captain William N. Reeve, 70, of 1519 Alabama Ave., West Sacramento, Calif., were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, at Klumpps funeral home. Interment was in East Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Reeve died Friday [September 7, 1962] at Mather Air Force Base hospital after a long illness.
After leaving military service, Mr. Reeve lived in Ogden, Utah, Newdale, Idaho and then Malad, where he worked for Oneida Grain Growers. He worked for the Park Service in Yellowstone Park then went to the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation in the state of Calif., and eventually retired from this service also. He was a World War I veteran and a native of Nebraska.
He is survived by his wife, Louise, daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Wood, son Frederick W., and four grandchildren.
