Joanne Ellen Adamson

Malad….Joanne Ellen Adamson, at the young age of 66, entered into eternal rest to join our heavenly father on Wednesday, September 17, 2014. Joanne was born December 20th, 1947. She is married to Jimmy Adamson for time and all eternity. She married the love of her life, Jimmy Carson Adamson May 29, 1990 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Salt Lake Temple. He is her eternal love as they are sealed together forever. She just knew they were meant to be together. They moved to Malad City Idaho 15 years ago to what she called her, “little piece of heaven”, where she knew peace and true friendships. It was here in the Malad Valley she finally made a home of her own with Jimmy. She also found the closest friends she has ever known here that she considered family. Joanne was born in Lodi, California where she was raised by her loving parents, Lloyd and Bernice Hittle, Sr. It was in northern California that she raised, with all her motherly love, her four children. Joanne’s whole heart is her love of family. She has a great love of life. She is giving, self sacrificing, selfless, sweet, and nurturing. Loves to smile and loves making others smile and feel joy. Her passions are reading, sports, gardening, crochet, knitting, and the beautiful Malad Valley. She loves all this area had to offer; the outdoors, the mountains, the Downeta hot springs. She also has a passion to care for all animals. She enjoyed her calling in her Pleasant View Ward library. She had a deep devotion to her beliefs and an unwavering testimony in the Church. She is and always will be cherished by her family, all who know her, and her beloved animals. She is survived by her loving husband Jimmy, her four children, Marc, David, Dusti (Zak), and Sandi, her grandchildren, Marcus and Tatum. She is the sister of two brothers, Gerald Hittle (Mary), and Lloyd Hittle Jr. (Gayle), and loving Aunt to her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Bernice Hittle Sr., and her brother Edward. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at 12 noon in the Malad LDS Stake Chapel. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday morning at the church from 10:30-11:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Pleasantview Cemetery.
