Samuel Lloyd Peterson died at Lava Monday

Samuel Lloyd Peterson, age 62, died Monday, July 21, [1975] in the Valley View Nursing Home, Lava Hot Springs, after a long illness.

He was born March 12, 1913 at Clarkston, Cache County, Utah, a son of Edward N. and Oclella Rawlins Peterson.

He was a farmer in the Malad area, a members [member] of the L. D. S. Church and graduate of Malad High school.

Survivors include two aunts: Mrs. Lear Cornish, Hailey, Idaho; Mrs. Nettie Croney, Bancroft, Idaho and several cousins.

Funeral was held Wednesday at noon in the Benson Funeral Home with Bishop Myron Jones officiating.

Burial was in the Malad City Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were by the Benson Funeral Home.
