MARY PRICE PETERSON

Mrs. Mary Price Peterson, 68, died Dec. 13th [1959] at her home in Venice, Calif. after a lingering illness.
Mrs. Peterson was born in March [14], 1891, at Samaria, a daughter of William and Mary Ann Daniels Price. She was an active member of the L.D.S. Church, holding offices in the M.I.A., Sunday school and Relief Society.
She was married to Ruben Peterson of Hyrum. They farmed in the Ridgedale and Pocatello Valley area before moving to Hyrum and later to Venice to make their home. Mr. Peterson died several years ago.
She is survived by the following children: Rulon[sic], Robert and VerLillion of Venice; Mrs. Helen Airea of Nebraska; nine grandchildren and three sisters: Mrs. Hannah Thorpe, Santa Monica, Calif.; Mrs. Jane Hawkins and Mrs. Gwen Jenkins, Ogden.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at Venice.
Relatives received word of the death of Miss Beth Price of Phoenix, Arizona of a cerebral hemmorage Tuesday, Dec. 15th.
Miss Price was preparing to leave for Venice, California to attend the funeral of her sister, Mrs. Mary Price Peterson, when death occurred. Miss Price, who was 64 years old, had worked for the same drug company for many years, having been employed at Salt Lake City, Cleveland and Phoenix. She was active in the L.D.S. Church.
Burial will be at Samaria with the services tentatively scheduled for Monday, Dec. 21st.
