FORMER MALADIAN DIES AT POCATELLO
Drew Merrick, 34, 617 N. Tenth, Pocatello, died at St. Anthony Hospital in Pocatello (Aug, ? 1962) due to a heart ailment.

Born Jan. 2, 1928 at Malad, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Merrick. He spent his early life in Malad where he attended school. He later received training as a male nurse and had worked in that capacity in Montana, Wyoming and at St. Anthony Hospital in Pocatello. Prior to his illness he worked at State Hospital South at Blackfoot.

On March 1, 1961, he married Donni Ferri at Soda Springs.

Survivors include his widow; one son, Mario, Pocatello; a daughter, Michelene by a previous marriage, Shelley; his mother, Mrs. Sylvia Merrick, Malad; two brothers, Keith of Pocatello and Zane of Laurel, Montana.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday at the Downard Funeral Home, 241 N. Garfield, Pocatello.
