Attend Funeral of Alec McKay

A number of Malad people motored to Tooele to attend the funeral of Alec McKay which was held in the Tooele Fourth ward chapel on Wednesday at 1:30. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. John McKay of Malad were in attendance and the following brothers and sisters: Mr. and Mrs. Arvil Hardy, Mr. and Mrs. William McKay, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Korn, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Beck and Miss Vernal McKay. Other relatives who attended were: Mrs. D.K. Evans, Mrs. Elizabeth Gleed, Mrs. Mamie McKay, Joe Gleed and family, Wilford Gleed and family all of Malad and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hardy of Butte, Montana.

Mr. McKay who was born in Malad on April 22, 1895, had lived in Tooele for the past twelve years where he was employed in the copper mills. He is survived by his wife, Ophelia Madsen McKay and the following children: Billie, Mrs. Viola Malley, LaDell, Alec Jr., Jack, Paul, Earl, Zola, Jimmie and Don.
