
Charles Brent Isom, 18 September 1955
Charles Brent Isom, 47, of Idaho Falls, passed away October 19, 2002, along with his wife, Jan, and daughter, Jennifer, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born September 18, 1955 at Idaho Falls, to Charles Burke Isom and Fern Alice Hines Isom. He attended New Sweden and Osgood Elementary Schools, Central Jr. High, Skyline High School, and graduated from Leadore High School. He then attended Idaho State University. He served in the US Air Guard.
He married Jan Sweeten on May 5, 1977 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. He was a farmer, rancher, mechanic and worked as an engineer for INEL. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as Scoutmaster in the Boy Scout program. He enjoyed model airplanes, campi g, hunting, scouting and woodworking.
Surviving are three sons: Blake (Mindy) Isom, Pocatello, ID; Shane Isom, Idaho Falls, ID; Daniel Isom, Idaho Falls, ID; parents, Charles and Fern Isom, Arco, ID; one brother, Don Isom, Arco, ID; three sisters, Connie (Steven) Hatch, Boise, ID; Jackie (Layton) Larson, Aceguia, ID; Tresa (Joel) Searle, Arco, ID; 12 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a nephew, Skyler Searle, and his grandparents.
Funeral services will be October 26, 2002 at the Eagle Rock Stake Center with Bishop Lyle Stephenson of the Idaho Falls LDS Skyline Ward officiating. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park.
