Lynn Ray Udy

Lynn Ray Udy, 35, died Sunday, September 9, 1984, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident near Morton Thiokol.

He was born February 19, 1949, in Malad, Idaho, a son of Ray H. and Ellerene Atkinson Udy.

He married Judy Ann Nelson On July 12, 1971 in Elko, Nevada.

He had lived in Plymouth, Tremonton, Garland and in 1983 he moved to Elwood.

He graduated from Bear River High School and attended Utah State University.

He was a priest in the Elwood LDS Ward.

He worked at Morton Thiokol as a leadman in the manufacturing division.

He had been a member of the Garland Volunteer Fire Department for five years.

Surviving are his widow of Elwood, one son and one daughter, Terry Udy and Jamie Udy, both of Elwood; his parents of Plymouth; two brothers and two sisters, Paul Udy, Trenton, Utah; Terry Udy, Mantua; Mrs. Craig (Susan) Barnes, Plymouth and Mrs., 1889 at Logan, a daughter Steve (Ella Rae) Hawkes of Tremonton.

Funeral services held Wednesday at noon at the Elwood LDS Ward Chapel, with Bishop Glenn A. Smith of the Elwood Ward officiating.
