Wilma Joyce Williams
(August 23, 1937 – October 26, 2017)
Malad…Our Beloved Wife, Mother & Grandmother Wilma Joyce Atkinson Williams of Malad, Idaho passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on October 26, 2017. Our loving Heavenly Father was waiting to reunite Wilma with her dear parents and many family members.
Wilma was born August 23, 1937 to William Spencer and Pearl Jones Atkinson. She married her sweetheart Grant O. Williams on July 28, 1962 and they were sealed in the Logan LDS Temple on August 20, 1976.
Wilma devoted her life to being an amazing wife, mother and grandmother. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many church callings. She held many titles including President, Captain, and Co-Captain of Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Wilma graduated from Malad High School class of 1955 and attended LDS Business college. She drove the school bus for 15 years while raising her eight children. Wilma and Grant lived in Malad ID, Rupert ID, Mink Creek ID, and then returned to Malad.
Wilma is survived by her husband Grant, and their seven children: Tim (Cindy) Williams, Kemmerer, WY; Ron Williams, Tremonton, UT; LaRae (Patrick) Graham, Billings MT; Venna (Bret) Flint, Park Valley, UT; Keith (Vicki) Hambly, Amalga, UT; Tami (David) Moser, Preston, ID; and Jan Miner, Weston, ID, twenty-nine grandchildren, fifty-three great grandchildren, and her sisters Doris John, Helen (Brent) Bastian, Gae (Dave) Kimberling, Donna Patterson, and sister in law Sharon Atkinson.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents William and Pearl Atkinson, her brothers Spencer and Dee Marvin, daughter Jacqueline Morris, Brothers-in -Law Gerald John and Gary Patterson, and her son- in- law Paul Miner.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 30th at noon in the Malad 4th ward LDS chapel, 20 South 100 West Malad, ID. Friends may visit with the family at the Horsley Funeral Home 132 West 300 North in Malad on Sunday from 7-8 PM and on Monday from 10:30-11:30 AM. Burial will follow in the Samaria Cemetery.
