William Harold John

William Harold John, 90, of Malad, died Tuesday, April 14, 1992, in the Oneida County Hospital at Malad.
He was born May 24, 1901 in southeast Kansas, a son of Jasper E. ad Anna Eliza Lancaster John. He grew up and was educated in Kansas and in the early 1900s, moved to California. When Harold was 14 years old, his family moved by wagon to Daniels, Idaho, near Malad, where his father took out a homestead.
He married Marjorie Christofferson April 6, 1927. She died in 1976. He and his wife farmed for many years up in the Daniels area, later moving to Lava Hot Springs, where they owned and operated a motel. The past several years he had lived in Malad.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 18 at noon in the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home in Malad. Burial was in the Malad, City Cemetery.
