Heart Attack Fatal To W. H. Vanderwood

Funeral services for William H. Vanderwood, 59, are being held today (Thursday) at 1 o’clock at the Stake tabernacle. Mr. Vanderwood died suddenly of a heart attack, Friday night at about 8:30 at his farm in Elkhom.

According to his wife he had gone out to the corral and after not coming back to the house in about half an hour she went to see where he was and found he was dead. In order to summon help Mrs. Vanderwood had to walk about a mile and a half to the D. M. Edwards farm.

Mr. Vanderwood was born in Malad, January 31. 1887, the son of Anna Elaison and John Vanderwood. Seventeen years ago he was married to June Starr of Provo, Utah. Fourteen years ago they buried an infant baby. He is a member of the Reorganized church.

Besides his wife, a brother, John E. Vanderwood of Independence, MO., two sisters, Kate White, Los Angeles and Mary Thompson, of Fromberg, Montana, survive.

Burial will be in the St. John cemetery.
