Wm. Floyd Hill, 63, dies at Downey
William Floyd Hill, age 63, died Monday during the night at his residence in Marsh Valley near Downey of natural causes. Funeral services will be held at St. John LDS Ward Chapel Friday at 1 p.m. with burial in the St. John Cemetery. Friends may call at Benson Funeral Home Thursday evening and Friday prior to services.
Mr. Hill was born April 20, 1905 at St. John to William and Phoebe Jones Hill. He was educated in Oneida schools. He married Virginia Camp in 1925 and they were later divorced. Mr. Hill was a farmer and stockman. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lois Ekstrom, Lancaster, Calif.; Mrs. Don (Eunice) Moreland, Sacramento, Calif.; a son, William Floyd Jr., Downey; two brothers, Earl, St. John, Oneida County; Ray, Samaria; a sister, Mrs. Merle (Phoebe) Duncan, Pocatello; seven grandchildren.
